Auryn — travel logging · iOS (Android roadmap)

Every shipped surface, plainly listed.

Auryn anchors on pins backed by truthful coordinates — live GPS captures, anchored place search, or photo workflows that still respect honest geography. The free tier keeps that compass tactile with up to ten lifetime pins, three photos each, badges, Explore, chronological feed optics, and three map lenses. Auryn Pro removes the archival ceiling, introduces the Trip workspace plus scripting for camera-roll ingestion, activates PNG share-card exporters, unlocks cinematic globe/year recap tooling, richer media (ten photos plus short clips, optional weather where data permits), personalization packs — see each section below.

Free vs Auryn Pro (at a glance)

GPS-verified pins

Pins record coordinates and place metadata together with captions, tags, galleries, verification flags, phantom placeholders for itineraries, revisit prompts, and social attachments (likes, comments).

Pin drafting & anchored search

The guided composer covers GPS-led or photo-led starts, anchored nearby searches with mileage guardrails, captions, tagging, optional Trip attachment previews before upload — exporters stay latent until Auryn Pro entitlements certify the device/session.

Privacy & visibility

Choose PUBLIC · FRIENDS · PRIVATE semantics per pin/trip storyline so explorers, pals, or just future-you maintain appropriate contrast. Blocking, reporting, and moderation primitives align with SeventwoTwo’s safety inbox.

Personal world map

Profiles render choropleths, clustered markers, bubbles, arcs, projections (Mercator + Robinson presets), attribution-safe Mapbox canvases — Pro unlocks orbital globe choreography + stylized basemap/marker palettes.

Travel graph & collaborations

Follow graph, inbound/outbound invites, mutual checks, trips membership states, RSVP surfaces, tagging invites on pins — all coexist with sane notification preference plumbing.

Journal & captions

Markdown-ish emphasis inside captions binds memories to locales; trip-level narration unlocks visually once Auryn Trips activates (see Pro tier).

24 travel badges

Badge logic unlocks trophies for milestones — graduated pin totals, continental breadth ladders, revisit cadence cues, EQUATOR crossings, polar & tropics stamps, streak weeks, richly photographed stops — without leaderboards or point grinding.

Stats & derived telemetry

Countries, continents, kilometer chains, durations, pacing heuristics, monthly peaks — recomputed honourably whenever pin truth mutates rather than inflated vanity counters.

Trip workspace Pro

Trips tabs hydrate only for Pro subscribers — list + detail + edit canvases visualize planned/active/completed lifecycles, cover selection, collaborator management, phantom-to-captured progress, routed cartography overlays, outbound share intents (PNG exporters still Pro-gated independently).

Bulk geotagged import Pro

BulkImportFlow verifies RevenueCat entitlement before iterating camera-roll selections, hashing duplicates locally, hydrating EXIF payloads, enqueueing uploads, surfacing quotas — shrinking multi-year backlog ingestion from hours → minutes versus manual wizard loops on Free.

Designer share-card exporters Pro

Passport, polaroid, boarding pass, and film-strip layouts render portrait PNGs tuned for IG or WhatsApp. Opening either exporter checks your Pro entitlement before rendering.

Motion media on pins Pro

Short clips travel through trimming + upload choreography, preview on map/feed timelines, and remain Pro-exclusive alongside larger galleries.

Memory nudges

Optional resurfacing rhythms remind you ethically of anniversaries; tunable amplitude + dismissal paths respect humane defaults.

Globe view & cinematic presets Pro

Orbital rigs, ambience tint packs, pitched camera choreography unlock from the Globe lab once Pro entitlements certify the device profile.

Year in review exporters Pro

Annual recap art mirrors the share pipeline — Wrapped-style panels stay Pro-only alongside trip/pin exporters.
