# Auryn

Auryn is an iOS travel logging app whose core unit is the **pin**: a memory bound to truthful coordinates via GPS capture, anchored place search near you, or photo-assisted onboarding with EXIF checks. Pins sit on Mercator/Robinson basemaps, drive lifetime stats (~24 badges, distance math, choropleths), hydrate a chronological friend-aware feed, Exploration grids, moderation/blocking primitives, journaling/captions, optional memory nudges, and lenses for your pins vs friends vs curated community tiles.

Android is roadmap; storefront billing runs through RevenueCat syncing with SeventwoTwo’s API.

## Free tier (current product behavior)

Up to **ten lifetime pins** per account (**enforced server-side**) and **three photos each** (**enforced alongside Pro’s ten-photo allowance**). Includes journaling/privacy scopes, badges, Explore, chronological feed arcs, friendships, invites, baseline map palettes/markers, notifications, phantom-stop awareness only through Pro trip UI (Trips tabs themselves lock without Pro).

## Auryn Pro (subscription)

Removes universal pin quotas, bumps each gallery to **ten photos**, activates trip workspaces (planned/active/completed boards + collaborator tooling + scripted bulk library ingestion), unlocks Passport / Polaroid / Boarding-pass / Film-strip PNG exporters plus year recap canvases, short pin clips, richer capture fidelity, optional Open-Meteo weather vignettes tied to timestamps, bonus basemap + marker palettes, highlights studio, collectible alternate launcher icons, 3D globe choreography with cinematic ambience/camera knobs. Billing + renewals mediated by Apple/Google; RevenueCat bridges subscription truth to SeventwoTwo’s backend.
